How to Make Skate Pom Poms Hold your index finger and middle finger out, separating them slighly. Wrap yarn around your fingers at least 50 times, taking care not to wrap it so tightly it hurts your fingers. Cut the yarn away from the rest of the ball and tie it tightly around the center, halfway between your two fingers. Gently pull out your fingers without didturbing the shape. Cut open the many loops of yarn at each end, and fluff the pom pom. Cut the yarn away from the rest of the ball. Take the piece of yarn that you set aside and tie it tightly around the center of all the yarn, about half way between your two fingers. Carefully, pull your fingers out from the yarn. You want to keep the shape intact. Cut open the loops of yarn at either end. Fluff the pom-pom out a little and trim it into a perfect ball. OPTIONAL: Tie or more jingle bells.to the inside of the pom pom.
