In November and December of 2003 there
will be an international roller basketball tournament
in Brazil that will take place over ten days in
three of the most important cities in Brazil (1) Brasilia,
(2) São Paulo, and (3) Rio de Janeiro.
Goals of the Event
-
To promote the spread and development of
roller basketball in Brazil.

To promote the formation of roller basketball schools.
-
To stimulate the social development
and interaction of children and adolescents by providing
them with an extremely attractive a physical activity.

To offer Brazilian students a new option for growth
by introducing them to this radical new sport.
-
Allow newly graduated of physical education
students with a new option and vision they
can use when marketing their work.
-
To demonstrate to the citizens of Brazil
that not only can children improve the quality of
their life byskating, but adults can do it as well.
-
To promote good citizenship by collectiong non-perishable
food which will be donated to destitute children in each
of the three cities where the tournament will be held
(Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo)
Details
The event will be an international competition
between 4 to 8 roller basketball
teams with participants being 16 years of age or older,
and a combination of men and women. Each
team will have a maximum of 6 athletes
and a coach/judge.

12 days of Brazil Tour and games.

STAGE 1 - Brasilia (November 28-30, 2003)

STAGE 2 - São Paulo (December 2-4, 2003)

STAGE 3 - Rio De Janeiro (December 5-7, 2003)
All the teamses play between itself, and the team wins the competition
that to get greater number of points (baskets) in elapsing of the competition.
We are in search of support and sponsorships to offer free student
lodging, feeding and transfers of all the international teams,
in each one of the cities.
