Finland Wins Gold at Synchronized Skating Worlds

Congratulations to Finland for finishing in first and third place
and also to Sweden for finishing in second place
at the 2004 Synchronized Ice Skating World Championships.
Finland and Sweden were the big winners at the 2004 Synchronized
Skating World Championships which took place April 1-4
at the Dom Sportova Arena in Zagreb, Croatia.
About Synchronized Ice Skating
Synchronized skating is a relatively new sport that combines
the classical movements of figure skating with spilt-second
maneuvers. Eighteen countries are participating in Zagreb.
Teams of 20 skaters are judged on various elements as they
interpret background music.
