In October of 2002, members of the
Vilnius Thursday Night Fever skating club in Lithuania dressed in Halloween
costumes and gathered in Cathedral Square around 7.30 p.m. for a skate
through the city.. At 8.00 the group of 20-25 skaters skated through the
streets of Old Town Vilnius.
They made a big cycle in Old Town and after one hour they returned
to Cathedral Square. They took a break from skating, had a few cups of coffee
together, and took off for another cycle through Old Town. This was the second
Halloween skate in Lithuania. Skaters were not so lucky with the weather at
the first skate in 2001. It rained that night so only 2 skaters participated!
