Where to Skate in Mexico City
By Ivan Cordova
|
From inline skater Ivan Cordova of Mexico City...
I skate with my two daughters (age 7 and 14) in Mexico City every day.
We belong to a speed skating club called "Roy’s Speed Club".
We skate at "Ciudad Deportiva Magdalena Michuca", a facility that includes
|
300 meter oval skate track (between door 7 and door 8)
5 kilometer "Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez" (always open)
Skate parks for aggressive skating
|
Entrance to the facility is free, and my daughters and I skate on the
auto racing track on Thursday and Saturday and on the oval other
days of the week.
To get to Ciudad Deportiva Magdalena Michuca you can take the Metro Line 9
car to Peubla Station. If you are driving, look on a map for
Rio Churubusco and Viaducto Rio de la Piedad. There is parking at
door 6 or door five for $14 pesos ($1.25 USD).
Here are some photos from my daugthers and other skaters at Cuidad
Deportiva:
