Dutch Ladies Competition 2003
- All Women are Invited -

For many years, races in Holland had no special ladies' category
and women who wanted to race
had to compete against men or go abroad to race.
In 2002, there were a few races with special categories
for women, and those events were attended
by female skaters from around the world
including some of the top world champion gold medal winners.
Because those events were so successful,
the Dutch Federation is organizing a special series
for ladies in 2003, and women from all over the world
are invited to participate in any or all of these events.

Who Can Participate?
Women from every country are invited
to participate in this series, and they can skate in as
many or as few events as they wish, because each race can be separately
entered. All of the races except the World Inline Cup events
require skaters to have a Dutch license, but any skater can
purchase a license to participate in Dutch races.
Dutch Skating License (Required)
Any skater, from any country, can obtain a license to compete
in the races organized by the Dutch Roller Sports Federation
(SkateBond.nl).
The license costs 42.50 Euros in 2003, and it entitles the bearer
to FREE PARTICIPATION in all
Skatebond Netherlands competitions - about 50 events per season.
The license also includes accident insurance and legal assistance
benefits.
For more information about obtaining a Dutch license or
racing in the Netherlands contact
Skatebond Netherlands at
info@skatebond.nl.
Registration Fees
For the criterium events, there is no extra registration
fee for skaters with a Dutch license.
The registration fee for the World Inline Cup events is 20
Euros for skaters who are not on an official
World Inline Cup team.
