2006 will be the 7th edition of the Tahiti Inline Marathon, and the event name has been changed to the "Tahiti Aito Inline Skate Challenge". In the past the event has taken place on the island of Moorea or the island of Tahiti, but in 2006 there will be events on three different islands: Moorea, Raiatea, and the tiny island of Tahaa. The events are scheduled to take place February 19 through February 22, 2006.

There will not be a Tahiti Inline Marathon in 2005 because the event has been moved from the traditional month of November to February. The 2006 Tahiti Marathon will include several different races on several different islands:
