IISA National Skate Patrol Program
|
The National Skate Patrol is a network
of volunteers who help the skating community
coexist with cyclists, pedestrians, and
motorized traffic. Members conduct free braking
clinics, offer tips on skating etiquette,
and patrol at popular outdoor skating venues
and organized events.
The National Skate Patrol was formed in 1992
by the New York Road Skaters Association and
the International Inline Skating Association.
Most National Skate Patrol braches are located
in United States cities, but a few
branches are based in other countries:
