Approximately 70 miles of the 96 mile
Oak Leaf Trail in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is paved
and suitable for skating.
The trail runs
along the Milwaukee river
and Lake Michigan, between Juneau Park and the
historic
Kilbourn Town House.
The trail was formerly known
as the Milwaukee 76 Trail, and it consists of a 64.5 mile Outer Loop,
a 5.4 mile Lake Loop, and a 13.7 mile
East-West Connector Loop.
. The trail
complete encircles Milwaukee and it also
has several side spurs. The entire
trail is about 90 miles, but only part
of that is paved. About 30% of the trail is parkway,
30% municiple streets, and 30% off-road trails.
