Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates, on a large indoor or outdoor ice surface, while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal. The bandy playing surface is called a bandy field and it is a sheet of ice larger than a standard ice rink, typically 90 to 110 meters by 45 to 65 meters.A varient known as rink bandy is played using the same rules but on an ice surface the size of a standard ice hockey rink and five or six players on each team., /p> < Regional Skating Resoures World Wide
