Hello Everybody!
This week's newsletter includes a link to the new FIRS
Web site, which has an important announcement from
President Sabatino Aracu about the possibility of inline
speed skating being included in the 2012 Olympic
Games.
Also included are articles about the National Skate
Patrol, a really great product for preventing blisters and
skate boot pain, and an article featuring four models of
skate maintenance racks.

blisters, lace bite, cuff bite, and other kinds of foot
pain caused by skating are gel pads designed for

| An Update on the National Skate Patrol |

This update on the status of the National Skate Patrol
has more questions then answers, but I'm hoping you
can help me fill in the gaps. Who is in charge of the
National Skate Patrol now that IISA has shut down?
Does the new skate patrol have a Web site? Which
local branches still exist? Shouldn't it be called the
International Skate Patrol since there are branches in
Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States?

Here is some fantastic news - the Web site of the
International Roller Sports Federation is back on the
Internet! Visit that site now to read a message from
new FIRS president Sabatino Aracu about the possibility
of skating being added to the 2012 Olympics, during a
meeting July 6-9 in Singapore.
