A 7 day menu for the Cabbage Soup Diet, including day-by-day eating plan.


Day 1
  • All the cabbage soup you want
  • All the fruit you want (except banana)
  • Drink tea, coffee, cranberry juice, or water

    Day 2
  • All the cabbage soup you want
  • All the vegetables you want (except beans/peas/corn)
  • Baked potato with butter for dinner

    Day 3
  • All the cabbage soup you want
  • All the vegetables you want (except beans/peas/corn)
  • All the fruit you want (except banana)

    Day 4
  • All the cabbage soup you want
  • Up to 8 bananas (1 to 8 bananas)
  • All the skim milk you want

    Day 5
  • All the cabbage soup you want (but at least 1 serving)
  • 10 to 20 ounces of beef, chicken, or fish
  • Up to 6 tomatoes (1 to 6 tomatos)
  • 6 to 8 glasses of water

    Day 6
  • All the cabbage soup you want (but at least 1 serving)
  • Up to 3 beef steaks (1 to 3 beef steaks)
  • All the fresh vegetables you want (or a salad)

    Day 7
  • All the cabbage soup you want (but at least 1 serving)
  • All the brown rice you want
  • All the vegetables you want
  • All the unsweetened fruit juice you want
