Introducing the United Skate Schools Group

Professional organization for skating educators formed in early 2005 by a group of IISA-certified instructors. Provides skating instructor certification, insurance, and annual professional development meetings. Board of Advisors includes the director of the former IISA's ICP program.

USSG Launches Instructor Certification Program
In March of 2005 the United Skate Schools Group launched a new program called IEP (Instructor Examination Program) that will qualify new inline skating, quad roller skating, and skateboarding instructors.

A New Professional Organization for Skating Schools
The United Skate Schools Group was formed in early 2005 by a group of top skating instructors and examiners formerly affiliated with the International Inline Skating Association. Their original mission was to provide insurance and professional resources to skating instructors, but they have since expanded to include certifying instrucors and conducting annual professional meetings.
