Controversial 2002 Bont Ad
"It's Bont Skates or NOTHING"
|
The Fall 2002 issue of Fitness and Speed Skating
Times Magazine included a full page ad on the inside cover
that has generated quite a bit of controversy in the skating
world.
What The Ad Looks Like
The ad is a full-page photo of a beautiful Swiss
mountain and lake scene. In the foreground,
standing on a rock high above the lake, is a rear
view of a skater without any clothes on, waving his
Bont speed skates over his head. There's a Bont
logo at the bottom of the page, but other than that, the only
print on the page is in the upper left corner, where it says:

It's Bont Skates
or NOTHING!
