How to Put on Wrist Guards

Putting on protective wrist guards can be confusing the first time you do it. Here are some instructions that will work for almost any type of wrist guard.

HOW TO WEAR WRIST GUARDS
  1. Locate the thumb hole in the wrist guard.

  2. Locate the hard plastic panel that will protect your wrist and the palm of your hand.

  3. Place the plastic panel over your palm and wrist with the hard plastic side facing AWAY from your palm. When you have done this correctly, both your palm and your wrist will be covered by the protective plastic.

  4. Put your thumb through the thumb hole. If you can't do this, the wrist guard is probably upside down. Turn the wrist guard on your palm until you CAN put your thumb through the hole (and the plastic covers your wrist).

  5. Wrap the wrist guard fabric around the back of your hand and secure it by pressing velcro against velcro.
