The sport of roller hockey was brought to Egypt in 2012 by two U.S. players, Angie Malone-Kaster, and Shaneikiah Bickham.

Leagues and Teams

CaiRollers
Egypt's first all-female roller derby team was founded in 2012 by two U.S. roller derby players. The team includes female players age 18 and older. The team's practice sessions and bouts have been held at the Cairo International Stadium's outdoor handball courts.
