Theresa Cliff is the winner of more speed skating world championship gold medals than any other female, and she met and fell in love with Australian champion Gary Ryan on the international speed skating circuit.

    They both set world records for longest distance skated in 24 hours by a solo road skater. I could have the story wrong, but I *think* he started out as her coach, and later she broke the world record set by him! The couple currently reside most of the year in Indonesia.

    Julie Brandt and Doug Glass
    World champion Julie Brandt Glass has one of the most well-known names in speed skating and her husband Doug Glass skated on the U.S. world team for 5 years. Now Doug is president of Powerslide USA and Julie has a new career as a world class ice speed skater. A little known fact: 50-time world champion Chad Hedrick was best man at their wedding. Anybody know what date Julie and Doug got married?
