Derek Parra of the United States
Olympic Ice Speed Skating Champion

Olympic Ice Speed Skater Derek Parra was an inline speed skater until 1996 when he decided to switch to ice speed skating to give himself a shot at skating in the Olympic Games. Derek won two medals at the 2002 Olympics and he is still training and placing in the top 10 at international races and world championship events.
