Italian downhill and freestyle skater Massimo Bavieri is also the owner of Max Bavieri Entertainment, and the producer of a spectacular Italian roller extravaganza called the "Creative Roller Show". His shows are very flashy and full of amazing stunts and special effects, so they have a great deal of popular appeal. They are frequently booked by the organizers of trade conventions and large regional festivals. Max also produces other types of skating events, and in 2002 he is organizing the the FIRS World Downhill Skating Championships in Belluno, Italy, scheduled to take place August 29 through September 1. max@rollershow.it.

Max and Kathie Fry of SkateLog.com met for the first time in February of 2001 in Trieste, Italy, where Kathie was visiting the "Art of Artistic Skating" workshop organized by Elvia and Mario Vitta, the owners of the Palajolly Roller Palace. The above photo was taken on the waterfront in the City of Trieste. Max and Kathie spent a beautiful afternoon and evening skating in Trieste on a Sunday when the streets were closed to motor vehicles.
