Comparing Artistic Inline Skate Frames
PIC vs. Triax

Two of the most popular frames for artistic inline skates, are the PIC frame made by Harmony Sports and the Triax frame made by Snyder. Here is a description of each of those frames and some opinions from skaters who have tried them.

PIC Frame by Harmony Sports
The PIC is 4 wheel frame that comes in several different models and price ranges (the smaller sizes have only 3 wheels). The frame retails for $100 to $275, but I have seen the low-end models for as little as $50 to $75. These prices include a toe stop, but do not include boots, wheels and bearings.

Triax Frame by Snyder
The Triax is a 3 wheel frame, with an adjustable toe stop. It retails for about $300 to $350, but I have seen it on the Web for as little as $120. These prices include a toe stop, but do not include boots, wheels and bearings.
