Speed Skating World Championships
A Time Line

Please Help Build a History of Speed Skating
I'm working with skaters and coaches from several different countries to build a time line of speed roller skating world championships since the very first event, which we think was in 1937. Can you help fill in any of the gaps in the table below? We are trying to determine the answers to these questions: (1) Where have all of the past world roller skating championships been held? (2) Did the very first event take place in Monza Italy in 1937? (3) We think the women's event was added in 1953, but what year was the junior event officially added? (4) Have the senior/junior, inline/quad, and men/women events always been held at the same time and place?
