2005 Inline Hockey World Championships
There are two inline hockey world championships, each with different
rules, and each sanctioned by a different skating federation:
One event is organized by the International Roller Sports Federation (FIRS)
and the other event is organized by the
International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF).

Rink Hockey
2005 Hardball Hockey World Championships
Information about the 2005 FIRS Hardball Hockey World Championships,
an event organized and sanctioned by the International Roller Sports
and scheduled to take place August 6-13, 2005 in San Jose, Californa,
United States. Hardball hockey is roller hockey played on quad roller
skates using a ball and it is also often called rink hockey,
ball and cane hockey, and traditional roller hockey.

Information about the 2005 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships, an event
organized and sanctioned by the International Ice Hockey Federation
and scheduled to take place April 30 through May 15, 2005
in Vienna and Innsbruck, Austria.
