2 Mex Will Perform at the 2005 X Games
2 Mex has been invited to perform at the 2005 Summer
X Games in Los Angeles California.
He was born ALEX OCANA Jr , Hailing from Mid city Los Angeles ,
attracted to rap as a youth, 2MEX started honing his skills
at the world
Famous Good Life Cafe which for los angeles were the early
progressive hip hop spawning such luminaries as Pharcyde,
Jurassic 5, Dialated Peoples and influencing a whole genre
ofmusic. Alex Began
his start in this industry in the late 80's early 90's doing
street promotions for
such labels as Def Jam , Delicious Vinyl and many others.
Soon Disgruntled with
the Business ofthe Business Alex turned to the artform and
2Mex was Born.
2MEX First recording's were with the legendary Underground
"Visionaries" Which he has released 2 albums with, he also
delved into a side
project which was much more socially conscience called OMD
Descent) w/ xoloxonxico and his critically acclaimed solo
project called "B-Boys
in Occupied Mexico" Part of the new hip hop under-ground of
the mid to late
'90's and influencing a whole new generation of artists

Atmosphere. In 2002 URB Magazine "rated 2MEX as one of
the top ten in music" In 2004 he released the
critically acclaimed Self titled 2MEX Album.
2MEX defies definition with a strong fan base in the
extreme sports community,Latin community & Hip Hop
Community. His last album first video "Fernandomania"
featured kareem Campbell olling over the crowd had
great success at MTV2
2MEX Is officially now one of indie raps heavyweights
and setting his sights for world saturation.
Visionaries and Of Mexican Decent are his regular folks
while he's been seen working with Lincoln Park,
and Sparta (f/former members of At The Drive-In) to name
a few. 2MEX is ready to raise the bar in Hip- Hop.
