2005 Winter X Games
Competition Schedule

Competition schedule for the 9th annual Winter X Games which will
take place in Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado January 29 through February 1, 2005.
Who:
ESPN X Games announces its competition schedule for Winter X
Games Nine that includes competitions held at night under the
lights and the addition of Women's Ski SuperPipe.
When and Where:
All Winter X Games Nine events are FREE and
will be held at Aspen/Snowmass' Buttermilk Mountain
from January 29 to February 1. There are four ski areas in the
Aspen/Snowmass area - Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands
and Buttermilk - all operated by Aspen Skiing Company.
What:
The ninth annual Winter X Games will feature more than
230 of the world's best winter action sports athletes
competing for medals and prize money in four sports:
Moto X, Ski, Snowboard and Snowmobile. Winter X Games
Nine will air live on ESPN and ABC Sports, including
nightly primetime shows on ESPN at 9 pm ET. Additionally,
ESPN's flagship news show SportsCenter will air live from
the event on January 31 and February 1.
