Skating in Portugal

Portugal is one of the strongest countries in the world in the sport of hardball roller hockey, with more than 50 world championship gold medals (more than any other country). They also have about 18 speed skating teams and several artistic roller skating European champions.

A NOTE FROM KATHIE: If you have any additional information about skating in Portugal please send it via email to kathiefry@skatelog.com or mail it to Kathie Fry, PO Box 12320, Venice Beach, California 90295 USA. I am especially interested in learning about places to skate, local skating clubs, skaters, skate shops, skate parks, and all types of inline skating and quad roller skating in Portugal including aggressive, artistic, fitness, hockey, slalom, and speed skating.
