Afghanistan's First Ice Skating Rink
Article about the about door ice skating rink built in Afghanistan in 2016. It was constructed at a high altitude with a cold climate so it was skateable from January to March. The rink was a project of a partnership between the "Free to Run" organization, the Canadian Embassy in Afghanistan, and the Conservation Organisation for Afghan Mountain Areas (COAM).
