Ecuador, the best on ice in South America
Article posted in November of 2017 on the Ecuador Times Web site.
FROM THE ARTICLE:
Ecuador won the South American Figure Skating Cup, but the region was the big winner. Yesterday, November 5, a tournament of a high technical level culminated, in which 320 skaters from eight countries displayed their abilities.
The national team was first at the middle level (67.60 points) and advanced level (99.25) while Peru (26) led the basic level. Yesterday, the closure of the South American tournament was full of color, music, and fantasy. In the final choreography 22 skaters participated, who drew figures on the ice following the rhythm of Ñanda Mañachi. (I)
