New Modern Bucharest Ice Rink in Two Years
Work has begun on the new Mihai Flamaropol skating rink, which is part of the Lia Manoliu Sports Complex, and the rink is expected to open in about two years. Three Ice Rinks Could be Included in "Skates for Romania" Program
Three ice rinks in (Brasov, Targu-Secuiesc (Covasna) and Carta (Harghita) could be included this year in the national program "Skates for Romania", in order to complete the construction works. The president of the Romanian Ice Hockey Federation (FRHG) declared that two of the three skating rinks are in the advanced phase of the works and it is still necessary to complete the roof and some locker rooms, and in Brasov the skating rink in question is in the beginning phase of construction and the works must be continued, informs Newsin.

What About Figure Skating Since 2009 in Bucharest
