President of the Ecuadorian Skating Federation: Our Situation is Critical
Article published in May of 2020 on the "El Uiverso" Web Site. FROM THE ARTICLE: The decision of the Sports Secretariat to only deliver, for the moment, 30% for the High Performance program to more than 20 Ecuadorian federations and the balance when there are resources, worries several national leaders who will have to reschedule their plans to be able to comply with the economic commitments that correspond to them. One of them is Marisol Castro, president of the Ecuadorian Skating Federation, who says: “The truth is that this 30% reduction in sports is already hurting us because I had everything planned and paid for events in Europe in March, April and May. With this reduction I do not know what I am going to do to cover the tickets and self-management is impossible, it cannot be done ”.
